As a main asset shared at spaces of commingling such as markets, food becomes an extremely useful lens to understand our living spaces and to identify possibilities to enlarge our experiences in them. In this perspective, participating from food encounters provides rich insights about an intimate and complex realm of social relationships, cultural significances, local politics and global exchanges from which we daily create and recreate our living environments.
